Find out more about Wheel Alignment
The steering system on every car is very important and requires regular maintenance to keep it at an optimum standard. The steering rack on all motor vehicles is easily knocked out of alignment by all the speed bumps and pot holes in the road. When the wheel alignment becomes out of tolerance the tyres will wear unevenly on either edge of the side walls.
SIGNS OF DISPLACED GEOMETRY OR WHEEL ALIGNMENT
- Steering wheel is offset when the vehicle is travelling in a straight line
- The vehicle may drift/pull to the left or right.
- The front tyres will wear bald or show signs of uneven wear on either edge.
If any of these faults are present on your vehicle, we strongly recommend you have your wheel alignment and steering geometry checked and adjusted if necessary.
We advise checking wheel alignment and steering geometry if there has been noticeable impact.
Our highly trained technicians can be of assistance to advise you of the best solution for any steering geometry problems.

The tyres on your car/vehicle are one of the most important parts that need to be checked on a regular basis. The tyre checks are one of the easiest checks to perform visually
- Check the air in your tyres at least once every 14 days.
- Do not decrease the air pressure of your tyre in snowy and icy conditions
- Do not drive at high speed on rough surfaces.
- The fact that thread depth is less than 3mm in winter affects traction negatively.
- Avoid hitting your tyre on the edges of pavements and sharp surfaces.
TYRE SPEED MARKINGS
Tyres are marked with tyre speed markings which suites the vehicle they are being fitted too.
